About Mrs. Jusiak
Educational Background:
- I absolutely LOVE math and knew that I wanted to become a math teacher when I was a freshman in high school.
- I graduated from Sweet Home High School in Amherst, NY.
- I received a Bachelors degree in Secondary Mathematics Education (Grades 7-12) from Canisius College in 2005.
- I earned my Masters degree in Exceptional Education from Buffalo State College in 2009 and also became New York State certified to teach students with special needs.
- My husband and I had our daughter in August 2011. Her name is Madeline Grace, but we call her Maddie.
- I enjoy spending my weekends with all of my family and friends.
- My husband and I were married in July of 2008 and we purchased our first home in the town of West Seneca in October of that year.
- We have two pugs named Gizmo and Pavlina! You will find lots of pictures of them all over my classroom!
- I love to go to antique shops and look for "treasures". I collect Memory Lane China, which is a china pattern that was made in Ohio in the 1960's.
- I love to craft in my free time. I have a Cricut machine that I use to cut vinyl for decals/signs and also paper projects, and we just recently got a Glowforge plus which can score, engrave and cut lots of different materials including wood and acrylic.
- My family is obsessed with Halloween and camping!
