I began teaching in Eden in 1993. I started in Eden Elementary as the teacher for 
gifted/talented students and began teaching sixth grade in September 2000. 
I live in Fredonia with my husband and have three grown sons.  I enjoy reading, taking walks, visiting new
places, and spending time with my family.  Because all three of my boys played hockey and my 
husband coaches the college team, I spend a lot of time in the ice rink.

Mission For The Class

My goal is to create a classroom environment of mutual respect, where students can be themselves.
 I want students to feel comfortable taking chances and asking questions. I hope to make sixth grade
 a year in which students will grow both personally and academically, and one which they will 
remember fondly.
