Woodworking

This course involves the study of the processing of all types/species of wood. The course covers the following topics: history of wood processing, current methods of processing, species identification and use of each, joinery, material processing and finishing techniques, and laboratory tool id and proper use. Students will complete projects that require both the use of hand and power tools.
