8:35am-8:45am

Students being driven to school should not be on the school grounds unattended before 8:35am.

Parents driving their students to school will enter at the driveway closest to the woods and pull forward along the Kindergarten Wing towards the traffic cone (see picture). Parents will form multiple lines 1-4 to help alleviate traffic buildup on Schoolview Rd. Line 1 will stretch from the traffic cone to the end of the lot as shown. There will be staff positioned along the DROP OFF ZONE to greet students and monitor entry to the building. Please pay attention and follow any staff directions. Please do not let your children out of your vehicle until staff is outside. 

Drop Off Zones

BLUE ZONE - After all busses are clear, cars will be directed to fill in the loop for the remainder of drop-offs. Please fill the entire loop from the Pre-k doors to the end of the Drop Off Zone. This is the only time you are permitted to enter the bus loop. 

DROP OFF ZONE - You may unload students once staff is present. Pull up as far as you are able to and follow the green paths to exit. Please have your child9ren0 ready to get out when you pull up. Backpacks and other items should be accessible. Parents should remain in the vehicle. Staff will assist.

RED ZONE - All passengers MUST remain in the vehicle. Do not allow children to exit and walk to the Drop Off Zone. Look for staff and follow directions. 

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I do if my child needs help bringing extra items in? (birthday treats, school project, ect.)

School staff is positioned throughout the drop-off line to assist students. Please follow normal procedures and ask a staff member for assistance. DO NOT stop the flow of traffic to pull near a door. DO NOT leave your vehicle in line and walk your child in. 

Can I walk my child into school?

If you would like to walk your child up to the building you may do so, however, there are a few things to be mindful of:

1. Parents must park in the lot and walk to the Main Doors. DO NOT leave your vehicle in the drop off line.
2. Please proceed to the crosswalk and wait for a staff member to stop traffic so you may cross safely.
3. Parents are not allowed to walk students to their classrooms. 
4. If you are helping your child bring items in (AFTER getting pre-approval from their teachers and the Main Office) you must enter through the Main Doors and report DIRECTLY to the Main Office to be signed in with your ID.
5. NEVER park in the lot and walk your child up to the 'Drop Off Zone'. You must walk to the Main Door via the crosswalk. If the wait in line is difficult for your schedule, we suggest being in line before 8:25am to be one of the first cars in line or arriving closer to 9:45am when most cars have exited.

What do I do if we are late to school? 

If you arrive to school after 8:45am you may park in the bus loop and walk you child to the Main Doors. Please press the buzzer once and wait to be let into the building. You will need to fill out a Tardy Slip for each student before leaving. 

I have a concern about something that occurred in the drop off line.

Please call the Main Office. To allow us to keep traffic moving, you should not stop to discuss non-emergency matters with the staff in the drop off line. If you need to speak to your child's teacher, you should follow the procedure he/she has outlined for you. 

Student Pick-Up

1. Parents will enter the same doors, near the woods, by the Kindergarten wing.
2. Parents will wait in the hallway.
3. Parents will sign out their children with photo identification.
4. Children will be in room by grade level, until parent arrives.
5. Once a parent has arrived and signed out their children, they will be connected with their children and may exit the building.
