Information About Data Privacy and Security Training for Faculty and Staff
Every year, all district employees are required to complete a mandatory online data security training. This includes a video review of all topics related to data security and privacy, a review of all relevant Board of Education policies, and an online assessment that they must pass with an 80% or higher score. In addition, staff are continuously reminded about data security through short trainings at faculty meetings and emailed examples of phishing scams circulating in the area. The district also periodically conducts phishing tests to assess our staff's skills at recognizing email scams and phishing attempts.
