• The Eden Elementary Garden Club visited Henry’s Greenhouses to tour and learn about how they use beneficial insects instead of pesticides and more about planting from cuttings. Mr. & Mrs. Henry even let the students plant several types of lettuces, cauliflower and collard greens to take with them!

The Eden Elementary Garden Club installed their home made bluebird houses along the fence line between the Elementary and G.L.P. schools today.

Today the Eden Elementary Garden Club students worked together with parents and The Eden Conservation Club to construct 20+ new bluebird houses. These houses will be placed on the Eden Central School District campus to help our feathered friends continue to thrive in Western New York.

The Eden Elementary Garden Club dodged sprinkles today to begin getting our garden area ready for planting! The students worked cooperatively and efficiently to rake up leaves, pull weeds, add compost soil to beds and create a thoughtful garden nook with stepping stones they created last year. We are so proud of how hard these kids worked - they made cleaning up fun!
