The vote date is Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 from 9 am - 9 pm in the JSHS Auditorium Foyer.  Proof of residency is required.  
 
Board of Education Nominating Petitions are available in the District Office - Room 143 at the JSHS from 7:15 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and from 12:45 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. on school days (Monday - through Friday).  Petitions must be returned by Monday, April 18th during business hours.

2012-2013

1. Improve Student Achievement:

a. Increase the number of mastery level students by 10% in 2012/2013 over 2011/2012*.

b. ECSD will be in the Top 10 of Erie County Public School Districts by the end of the 2013/2014 school year**.

c.ECSD will be in the Top 5 of Erie County Public School Districts by the
end of the 2015/2016 school year**.

2. Develop a fully vetted long-range (5 year) plan for the ECSD (staffing, facilities, curriculum, technology, etc.):
a. Gather all data, framework and timelines for completion by July 1, 2013.
b. Complete and fully vet with all stakeholders a long-range plan (5 year) by July 1, 2014.
3. Increase the number of college credit course offered:
a. Implemented for 2013/2014 school year.
b. Implementation plan approved by Board by March 1, 2013.

*Calculated by taking the percent increase in students at mastery level for all subjects for grades 3 through 12 based on state tests and criteria and averaging the per capita weighted average percent increases to get an overall percent increase used for determination of success versus the goal. For consistency purposes cut scores for mastery will be the same for both years of the calculation and set to the earlier year in the calculation.

** Calculation will use the state weighting of twice for level 4, twice for level 3, once for level 2 and zero for level 1. Score will be done for each state administered test for grades 3 through 12 and compared to all other schools in Erie County for a rank. The per capita weighted average of the tests will provide the ECSD overall rank used for determination of success versus goal.
