Eden Jr/Sr High School is a comprehensive junior/senior high school accredited by the New York State Board of Regents. The present enrollment in grades 7-12 is approximately 850 students. The school has a building principal, assistant principal, three counselors, a director of athletics, a school psychologist, school nurse, school social worker, librarian and approximately 75 teachers and 12 support staff. We are currently in the eleventh full year of block scheduling. Each Eden school year is divided into two semesters for high school students; therefore, students take one-half of their course load in the fall semester and the other half of their course load in the spring semester. Students are in class for 75-minutes per day for most courses. The schedule for the junior high is setup on an "A/B" rotating schedule for all courses. This allows us to meet course requirements before the NYS Assessment Program schedule.
Our, curriculum offers a wide range of courses including those courses that are college credit bearing classes offered through Niagara University, the Advanced Placement program, career tech and industrial tech programs. Vocational sequences are also available through our local BOCES centers. Our academic preparation program allows our students to routinely score at or above state and national norms on all standardized tests.
If you would like more information regarding our academic or athletic programs, please call the school at (716) 992-3600.
